House and Garden Renovation. One Year (and some) On. 30.09.12

I think this is going to be the last of the year-on-year update posts because a few days after these pcitures were taken we moved in and I started blogging about this house as things happened. So, it looks like I'm going to have to get back to 'normal' blogging from here on - eeek, what will I write about?!

Anyhoo, back to today's post. Here's the dining area, this time last year - hubby had managed to heft a couple of pieces of large furniture round from our rental house, plus our new f/freezer had been delivered, and that little sofa was finally able to come out of the garage.
Now.
Fridge freezer looks like it's been attacked by paper-sticking monster.
Kitchen area, then.
Now.
Oh, how I love the uncluttered-ness of the 'before' shot.
Patio and surrounding barren patch of earth, then.
Now. Patio and a lovely bit of grass (or should I say 'lawn'?)

Then.

Now.
View from the kitchen window with a 'willing' helper hard at work on the barren patch with the roller.
Now. All that hard work paid off.
View from bedroom window, then.
Now. Darn those gaudy bits of plastic getting in the way of our RHS-worthy garden. Ha.
Close up of the gravel (yes, honestly, there's gravel in there somewhere) path at the left side of the garden, complete with chicken run right at the end, then.
Now. The trampoline and goal posts don't usually live on the path, but had been moved there while the lawn was mowed (mown?)
Back of the garden with Mark standing on the wall hacking down an overhanging branch, then.
Now.

And finally, the front of the house, then.
Now.
