House Renovations: Internal, Downstairs

I have taken soooooooooooooooooooo many photos of the renovations over the last three months that I've decided to split them into two further postings - downstairs and upstairs (or should it be the other way round?!) Anyway, here we have downstairs, in all its glory;

so come on in and shut the door behind youDon't go upstairs yet, we'll save that for another postDo you need the loo? Better be quick, it won't be there long.Turn right out of the hallway, and into the living room (here we are looking towards the front of the house)

Plug the fire in, and warm your toes. But, again, better be quick before it's gone.And be careful, someone's thrown a wall up there so you can't walk through anymore.This is the other end of the living room, looking out to the back gardenIf you turn left out of the hallway, you come to the kitchen; I'll pop the kettle on before it's too late.OK, too late for the cup of tea, in fact it's too late for anything in the kitchen, which will now become the dining areaPerhaps we can use the sink in the utility roomUh oh, that's gone too. Making way for the extension and the site of the new kitchen.OK, I think that's enough for today. Next post will show how the upstairs is coming along.
