We found out today which tickets we were lucky enough to get.
On Saturday 4th August we'll be off to the Olympic Stadium to see all of this: Women's 10,000m Victory Ceremony, Men's 400m Hurdles Semifinals, Men's Shot Put Victory Ceremony, Women's Discus Throw Final, Women's 100m Semifinals, Men's Long Jump Final, Women's 400m Semifinals, Women's Heptathlon 800m, Men's 20km Walk Victory Ceremony, Men's 10,000m Final, Women's Discus Throw Victory Ceremony, Women's 100m Final, and Women's Heptathlon Victory Ceremony. Phew. All in the space of 3h 15mins, apparently! Our eyeballs will be rolling in our heads by the time that's over.
The following Thurs & Fri we have tickets to see the men's hockey semifinal no.2 and the women's hockey bronze medal game.
Having spoken to friends who got no tickets at all in this first round of the allocation, we know how lucky we are to have got our hands on six so we'll have to make the most of them!

Crikey that's amazing! We applied for about 10 different events and only got one, found out today that that one is Handball, sigh.
