House Renovation. One Year On. 12/13.06.12

I'm a little slack with this update - the before shots were taken on the 12th of June 2011, the after shots on the 13th of June 2012. But what's 24 hours between friends?

Without further ado, here's the outside of the house one year ago - you can see the outlines of the top storey windows taking shape.

And here's the back of the house today, Wednesday 13th of June 2012. Complete with windows, doors, a patio and child-related detritus. That flower bed to the far left of the photo is still intruding onto the lawn too much for our liking; the plants which you can just seen by the goalpost are on our list of things that need to be rehomed one day soon.
Moving inside, here are those top storey windows again. The window on the far left is in our ensuite; the other two windows are in the master bedroom.

And this is what it looks like today, Wednesday 13th of June 2012. Taken from the same spot, but the internal walls mean that it's a very different view. You can't see the window in the ensuite from this spot any more since the wall of the bathroom (that's the one on the left with the green tile stripes) gets in the way.
And here's DC's bedroom on the 12th of June 2011. It looks much bigger here than it is now since the wall dividing our bedroom and his hadn't been built. The wooden post in the centre of the shot marks the corner of the wall which you can just about see behind the door in the photo below.
So, there you have it, another little update from chez nous.
