House Renovation. One Year (and a fair bit) On. 17.09.12

It was an exiciting day a year ago as it was the first time we'd seen the wood flooring fitted in the hallway and open plan living area. Here's the hallway (and hubby.)
And now. Hubby has disappeared, leaving behind only a pair of boots, in the manner of the Wicked Witch.
Hallway, looking through to dining area. Then.
Now.
Then.
Now; with half a small boy.
Then: snug, with carpet nearly fitted.
Now.
Then: kitchen from dining area.
Now.
Then: living area.
Now.
Then: kitchen.
Now.
Dining area, then. I remember hubby and I feeling like we were in a huge dancehall.
Now. Not so much room for dancing...
Kitchen from living area, then.
Now.
Dining area from living area, then.
Now.
Living area from dining area, then.
Now.
Time to wander upstairs.
Then: view into guest room from landing.
Now.
Then: guest room.
Now.
Guest room again.
Now.
And again.
Now.
Last one.
Now.
View from guest room onto landing, then.
Now.
View along landing towards our bedroom, then.
Now.
DC's room, then.
Now.
Our bedroom, then.
Now.
View along landing from our bedroom, then.
Now.
Hubby's office, then.
Now.
My office, then. So tidy.
Now. So messy.
And totally randomly, a view of the garden from DC's room, just over a year ago.
Now. Slightly tidier, thank goodness!

  1. This looks great Justine, how much of it did you do yourself? I've recently started a renovation project myself with a knowledgeable friend from uktoolcentre.co.uk. You should check out our blog.
